Lazpiur has delivered the last two units to Lear for an automobile PCB processing line. The Basque company supplies the American multinational with equipment to set an important project in motion in the production of various models for a leading car manufacturer.
Lazpiur has supplied Lear with a line for terminal insertion and mounting of busbars on the PCB. This is a fully automatic line, with the exception of PCB loading and unloading.
This Lazpiur line is compatible with various types of terminals and performs self-checks to ensure terminals are appropriately mounted by means of a system of electrical and functional tests. Products are transported on a pallet ensuring multifunctionality and versatility on the line, whilst enabling the production of more than one type of product at the same time.
The Basque firm has extensive experience in this field. Lazpiur already operates in 25 countries and is currently undergoing a process of expansion. The company designs and manufactures forging precision tooling and machinery. There are two separate divisions, which are primarily concentrated on supplying multinationals such as Ford, Mercedes, Volkswagen and Tier-1 suppliers like Lear, Delphi, Continental, GKN, NTN...
