The Bergara-based company has joined forces with twenty firms who are cooperating with the Eibar school, in common projects related to dual training at work/classroom, work placements or job banks.

Armeria Eskola, through its Association of Former Students, and Lazpiur are entering a new collaboration phase. The Bergara-based company has joined forces with a group of twenty local firms who are working together with the vocational training school of Eibar to improve the relationship between education providers and businesses.
This cooperation between both hundred-year-old organisations comprises several fields. Lazpiur will have priority for dual training with work experience or apprenticeships, as well as to use the job bank listing students who have qualified at Armeria Eskola. Furthermore, both have committed to collaborate in new initiatives, events and meetings related to directive leadership, advanced industry, etc. In sum, this aims to promote increased mutual knowledge between the company and the school.
Armeria Eskola and Lazpiur
Armeria Eskola, established in Eibar, has been committed to quality for over one century. This institution offers Vocational Training with the aim of turning students into stakeholders for transformation of the local social and economic reality. Over 400 new company directors have been trained at the centre.
Lazpiur, a family-run company based in Bergara and founded 102 years ago, manufactures three types of machinery: electronic machines; fastener inspection machines; and tailor-made machines. In addition, the company also produces precision forging tooling. The company operates in 25 countries.
