Lazpiur is the only company on the market which produces the entire family of machines for fastening item control. The purpose of this is to satisfy the "zero defect" criteria in the automotive sector.
Lazpiur, celebrating its Centenary year, has developed many of these machines in collaboration with the technological centre IK4-Tekniker.
The presentation at the 21st International Forging Congress (IFC) in Berlin is a recognition of the work carried out by the company in its 100 years of history.
Lazpiur, chosen as the best manufacturer of forging tools, is the only Spanish company to act as a keynote speaker at the Congress.
Set in Gipuzkoa, Lazpiur employs 100 workers and operates in 25 countries.
The IFC, which is held every three years, will bring together over 1,000 participants this week, including managers of the main players in the sector.
The guest list over 150 people attending the event includes the President of the Regional Council of Gipuzkoa, the President of the Basque Parliament, the Mayoress of Bergara and the Minister for Economic Development and Competitiveness, all of who will be joining the company's staff in the celebrations.
The company was first set up to produce shoes before moving on to the nail sector, and emerged from the last few decades as a leading company in the design and manufacture of forging tools and high-tech machinery.
